Animals adopted from our rescue March 2019 and forward
Peter and Cotton
*pair of male baby rats *born Easter Day 2020 *Albinos -These boys were surrendered because they were part of an accidental litter when someone bought two rats at the pet store and was told they were female. Lo and behold, they were not! These guys have been very well raised and are VERY outgoing and friendly. They love humans big and small and love attention and snuggles. Will let you pick them up no problem and run to the front of the cage for attention when you open the door. Super nice boys. These guys would be good for any kind of family. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $25 for a pair of rats.
Gizzy and Willow
Breed: English spot/Flemmie type mix (Gizzy) and Mini Lop (Willow) Size: Gizzy is 11 lbs and Willow is 4 lbs DOB: Approximately 3 years old as of early 2020 Reason in Rescue: These guys were originally rescued from a hoarding situation where they were not living in good conditions. They were rescued by a person who, due to their health, could not care for them anymore, so they came here. Personality: Because of their background, these two can be slow to trust but once they know you are not going to hurt them they are very sweet. Gizzy is a little more standoffish but we are learning he loves having his face rubbed. He is learning to tolerate being held. Willow can be scared at first but when she learns to trust you, she lets you pet her and pick her up and snuggle on her. Let me cut her nails with no issue! Both of these guys are very good with their litter box. Friends: Gizzy and Willow are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. We do not recommend them going to a home where they were interact with small children because of them being a little anxious. Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 4’). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. Suggested adoption donation is $75 for the pair. They are spayed/neutered and microchipped.
Peanut
Breed: lionhead Size: About 4-5 lbs DOB: Approximately three years old Reason in Rescue: This boy came into the rescue because him and the dog were not getting along (the dog would chase him). Personality: Peanut is a very sweet boy. Very outgoing and seems to like attention! He used his litter box very well Friends: He is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female. Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. Suggested adoption donation is $60. He is neutered.
Marinette
*female cat *tortie medium hair *Approximately 1 year old - Marinette was picked up outside as a pregnant stray. Unfortunately her babies did not survive so she is now ready to find her furever home! Warm and indoors forever! Marinette is very sweet albeit very shy. As you can see from the video she loves affection and absolutely adores you and getting loved when she knows you. She does take a little bit to warm up so her new adopter will need to keep her in a smaller room while she gets used to them and then slowly introduce her to more space as she gets more comfortable. She will hide! She makes the best muffins and is just a sweetie pie. She definitely would do well in a new home with other cats but unknown about dogs. Older/quiet children or an adults only home. She is spayed, negative for FIV/Felv, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $50 for a single cat which includes all the vetting above.
Sammy
Breed: Some sort of agouti, possibly Dutch mix Size: Will probably be closer to 5-6 pounds full grown. DOB: Approximately October 2019 Reason in Rescue: Sammy came into the rescue as a baby, and is now big enough to be spayed and find a home! Personality: Sammy is a great bun. She’s super sweet and laid back and loves attention from everyone, even my four year old (though obviously all interaction with children needs supervised). She loves treats and sleeping on her back to scare us lol. She’s just a great bun. Friends: she is a good candidate to be bonded to a neutered male. Suggested adoption donation is $60 which includes her spay and microchip.
Chipper
*female kitten * gray tabby shorthair *DOB 3/3/20 -Chipper came to our rescue with her mom and four siblings after they were born at a rural shelter. They needed a place to grow up until they were big enough to find a home! All of her siblings but Cal were adopted so now she is just waiting for her new home. These kittens are super friendly. They love people and attention and are very sweet and outgoing! She is spayed, negative for FIV/Felv, FVRCP vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea preventative. Chipper will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $100 for a single kitten which includes all the vetting above.
Tivali
*female cat *gray short hair *Approximately 1 year old -Tivali came in as a transfer from another shelter after she gave birth to 7 babies there! She was practically just a baby herself! She was a great mom but now all her babies are big enough to find homes so she is also ready to find her own. She is a very friendly girl who loves humans big and small. Loves attention! In her foster home she was good with some cats but protective of her babies around others, so we think now that her babies are weaned and she is spayed, she should be okay with other polite cats with slow introductions. Unknown about dogs, as always, slow introductions are your best bet.
Cal
*male kitten * gray shorthair *DOB 3/3/20 -Cal came to our rescue with his mom and four siblings after they were born at a rural shelter. They needed a place to grow up until they were big enough to find a home! All of his siblings but Chipper were adopted so now he is just waiting for his new home. These kittens are super friendly. They love people and attention and are very sweet and outgoing! He is neutered, negative for FIV/Felv, FVRCP vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea preventative. Cal will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that he cannot be declawed. Nicolette
*female cat *Dilute calico longhair *About 3-4 years old -Nicolette was rescued by one of our fosters with her two kittens and she is now ready to find her furever home! Here is what her foster mom has to say about her “Nicolette was living in an outdoor cat colony. She was having litter after litter for two straight years when she was trapped to be tnred. While she was in surgery though, she was found to have a walnut sized mass under her chin. After her diagnosis and while waiting to get surgery on her neck her foster discovered she was actually quite sweet given patience and trust. We now believe she was an an abandoned pet.” Her mass was removed and diagnosed as an old burst cyst. No cancer! Nicolette would do best in a quiet household with calm and gentle kids or older kids. She is spayed, negative for FIV/Felv, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $50 for a single kitten which includes all the vetting above.
Tom
*pair of male guinea pigs (bonded to Jerry) *agouti and white shorthair *Tom was born in December 2019 -These boys came in from a large piggy rescue in eastern PA. They had over 100! Though a little skittish when you go to pick them up (as most piggies are), they are very sweet boys who seem to enjoy attention and are very curious! Scout

She was a great mom but now all her babies are big enough to find homes so so is she! Her foster mom said she is a very friendly cat that loves attention and likes to talk! She is great with other cats with slow introductions and also lives with a foster bunny! Unknown about dogs, as always, slow introductions are your best bet. She is spayed, negative for FIV/Felv, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea preventative. Raisin
**Raisin was adopted out in 2018 and recently returned due to a job change. She is a great free range bun and is still very sweet!”
Breed: Unknown but some sort of black breed, possibly lop cross Size: About 5-6 pounds DOB: Approximately summer of 2016 Reason in Rescue: Raisin came into the rescue about spring of this year. Someone's neighbor had literally thrown her out their back door because they didn't want her anymore. She certainly couldn't fend for herself, so they picked her up and brought her to us. Raisin has one ear that is not actually an ear. We believe she was born that way. It is floppy and half the size of a normal ear, with no ear canal. It doesn't affect her at all! Personality: Raisin is one of the sweetest buns ever. She loves attention, loves being petted, and just wants to run and play and binky. She's just an awesome, super fun, very outgoing bunny. We kept her here at the rescue because we wanted to try and bond her into one of our permanent groups, but unfortunately Raisin has not been too keen on moving in with any other bunnies. She prefers to have her humans all to herself! She is litter box trained, and just awesome. Friends: Raisin prefers to be a single bun, though she can live in a home with other bunnies as long as they are separate. Suggested adoption donation is $60 which includes her spay and microchip.
Draco
**Please see our featured adoptable page for more information**
Breed: some sort of standard sized mix Size: About 5 pounds DOB: Approximately early 2018 Reason in rescue: Draco came to us from a hoarding situation up north where over 30 rabbits were rescued. Personality: Draco is a very sweet boy. He has been in foster and his fosters say he is the perfect bun. He's friendly and comes running for attention and loves to binky! He is free range in their house and is great with his litter box! He also gets along very well with their cats! He's a great family bun and ready to find a new home! Friends: He is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female. Suggested adoption donation is $60 which includes his neuter.

George
*male cat *brown tabby short hair *Around a year and a half old as of spring 2020 -George was rescued by one of our fosters! Here is what she has to say about him: “This is George, also called King George. This guy was a stray on the streets of Butler, PA. He was being fed by many people on the block and charming everyone with his super sweet personality. Everyone loved him, but nobody could take him in. They wanted him to go to a good home and not have a hard life on the streets, so we took him in. And sweet he is! He thinks he is a dog! He follows his foster mom wherever she goes to request love and petting. He loves to snuggle and is a the perfect lap cat. He gets along with all the other cats and is still quite young at only 1.5 years old. He would be great in a home with kids or without, as long as there's lot of love to give and get! Fully vetted, combo tested and ready to home with some lucky family!“ He is neutered, negative for FIV/Felv, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. He will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that he cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $50 for a single cat which includes all the vetting above.
Serenity
*female kitten * gray shorthair *DOB 2/7/20 -Serenity came to our rescue with her mom and six siblings after they were born at a rural shelter. They needed a place to grow up until they were big enough to find a home! All of her siblings were adopted so now she is just waiting as well as her mom Tivali. These kittens are super friendly. They love people and attention and are very sweet and outgoing! We would absolutely love it if Serenity and Tivali could find a home together! She is spayed, negative for FIV/Felv, FVRCP vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea preventative. Serenity will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $100 for a single kitten which includes all the vetting above.
Sirius and Pee Wee
Breed: mini Rex Size: about 3-4 pounds DOB: Approximately beginning of 2017, so 3 Years old. Reason in Rescue: These guys were brought to us when their previous owners couldn’t keep them anymore. They were housed outdoors part of the year :/. Personality: Both boys are super sweet. They are very people oriented and friendly and don’t mind being picked up and loved on. They love being petted! They are very laid back and would be good boys for any kind of family. Friends: Sirius and Pee Wee must be adopted together as a bonded pair. Suggested adoption donation is $75 for the pair which includes their neuters and microchips.
Stuart
*single male rat *albino *young, I’d say between 6 and 9 months -Stuart was found in someone’s driveway:(. We believe he was dumped. Turns out he’s an amazingly sweet boy who just wants to be petted and held! He gets a little nervous initially being picked up and will run so we pick him up in a small blanket or towel and he loves it. He’s just an awesome little boy. I would recommend older children to adults for him and possibly another sweet boy rattie friend. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $20.
Jewels
*female cat *brown tabby short hair *Approximately 2 to 2 1/2 years old -Jewels came in as a transfer from another shelter after she was there and extremely pregnant. She had been rescued from a home where the owner had passed away and hadn’t been discovered for a few days along with 13 other cats. The day after she got here she gave birth to babies. Unfortunately one one survived. Now her baby is old enough and she can find her own forever family! She hated being a mom and wasn’t very good at it lol (we think this was her first litter). Jewels is an amazing cat. She adores people and wants to be with them at all times. She loves adults and will sit on your lap all day or be held. She also adores our four year old and let’s him love her and kiss her and hug her. She did live with other cats but she hasn’t been a fan of ours here (we think she is protecting her baby), so all introductions should be slow with any residents. She also hasn’t liked our dog, but again, we believe she is protecting her baby, so slow introductions are your best bet if there is a polite dog in your home. She loves to play and has a lot of energy. I won’t comment on any possible breeds (she is NOT a purebred) but she looks very exotic and has the energy level of that kind of cat. She hates being separated from her humans and was so distraught here being in a cage part of the day that she rubbed her nose enough to make it bleed so she really needs a home where she will get a lot of attention.
Ferdinand
*single male piggy *black, white shorthair *About 4 years old -Ferdinand, aka Ferdie, was surrendered because of a divorce and a move. Unfortunately they couldn’t take him with them. He is such a good boy! He loves people, is very outgoing and friendly, and loves face and head scritches. Not a fan of butt touches but he doesn’t mind being picked up and loved on. He is an amazing little boy who still has a lot of love to give! Because of his age, I’m not sure how he would respond to living with another male so if someone wanted to do that they would have to go very slow. Or he can stay as a single piggy with lots of love and attention from his adopters! Interested adopters should check out www.guineapigcages.com for information on recommended cages and https://guinealynx.info/ for information on care and feeding. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $25 for a single pig.
Zoey, Peanut, and Butter Cup
*trio of female guinea pigs *Zoey is black and white, peanut and buttercup are brown and black Teddy mixes. *Zoey is approximately 3, and her daughters are 2 -Zoey and her two daughters Peanut and Buttercup are looking for their furever home! They are three sweet girls. They are the typical guinea pig where they run away initially when you try to catch them but once you get them they are very sweet and love snuggles and petting. They are some sort of teddy mix as they have the crinkly fur. They must be adopted as a trio as they are very bonded. They have lived their entire life in a large C and C cage and must have an adopter willing to provide an adequate cage. Interested adopters should check our www.guineapigcages.com for information on recommended cages and https://guinealynx.info/ for information on care and feeding. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $55 for the trio.

*male cat *white and orange tabby short hair *Around a year old as of spring 2020 -Jasper was rescued by one of our fosters! Here is what she has to say about him: “This is Jasper! He is the perfect man: looks and personality! He is only about a year old. He lives to be a lap cat! He loves people and will curl up on you or next to you to get petted. He loves to roll over when petted so you can get all of him! He also loves to be picked up to give hugs! He came from a hoarding situation and when he came to us, he was shut down. He had spent too long with very little attention or love and constantly fighting for food and safe space. After only a few days though, he begun to trust again and has just flourished in a loving environment. Now, he is the perfect loving companion for any home!“ He is neutered, negative for FIV/Felv, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. He will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that he cannot be declawed. They didn’t spat/neuter and were all together. Luckily they were all rescued and April came to us. Personality: At first April was very skittish, but after a couple of days here, she is warming up very well. She now allows being petted and head and is becoming more outgoing. She’s a very sweet natured girl. She is using her litter box very well! Friends: she is a good candidate to be bonded to a neutered male. Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). The people that had them just let them multiply :( Personality: Sid is such a sweetie pie. He’s not scared of much and likes being petted and held. When you hold him he snuggles right into your neck for love. Just a really sweet man. He is doing well with his litter box as well! Friends: He is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female. Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). Artemis
*Four female syrian hamsters *3 weeks old as of 3/10/20 *solid brown or brown and white -These girls were surrendered to us after someone purchased a hamster from a pet store and she gave birth to babies! They need to find their own furever homes! They are all very sweet and hand tame as they have been handled from birth. These guys will be adopted out as singles as they will begin to fight as they get older. Okay with children but please keep in mind young children would need to be supervised and taught proper handling. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $15 per Hamster.
Omelette
*male cat *orange tabby medium hair *Around a year old as of spring 2020 -Omelette was rescued by one of our fosters after he was found as a stray. He should be okay with other animals with slow introductions. Biscuit
*female kitten *brown and white shorthair *Born around October of 2019 - Biscut was rescued by one of our fosters and she is now ready to find her furever home! Here is what her foster mom has to say about her: “Biscuit is the full package! Full of kitten energy, she LOVES to play with pretty much anything. She was named Biscuit because she is more like a dog than a cat! She will follow you around everywhere to play and get love. She is very affectionate and loves to be held and petted. She was rescued from a hoarding situation. The veterinarian says she is older than she looks, probably about 6 months old, but is very small, most likely due to such poor nutrition and living situations in her early life. She is perfectly healthy though and ready to zip into your heart and home! She is good with other cats and bunnies, and should be okay with dogs with slow introductions.” She is spayed, negative for FIV/Felv, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $75 for a single kitten which includes all the vetting above.
Checkers
*single male cat *orange tabby and white shorthair -here is what Checkers mom has to say about him: “ Checkers was living outside in a colony of cats at a trucking company. Being the sweetheart he is, he was being beat up on by all the other cats, hence his rough ears and nose. Tough life on the street has also left him with FIV, but we know that’s nothing to worry about! Amazingly, Checkers never lost his sweet personality. He has never met someone who wasn’t immediately a friend. He loves everyone! And he loves chin/cheek scratches and back and belly pets. And if you are not petting him, he is close by waiting for when you will. He loves other cats and gets along with them very well. He is now recovered and rejuvenated from his hard life on the streets and waiting for his forever home where he will continue to be safe and loved as much as we do! “FIV positive cats live good, full lives given normal quality cat care. Dolly because of her previous poor diet is overweight. We are keeping her on straight Timothy/grass hay and limited pellets. No treats! It is working and she already looks better. Her adopter will need to keep her on a healthy diet as well. She is great with her litter box. Friends: she is a good candidate to be bonded to neutered male. He loves running on his wheel and getting occasional treats of a raisin. Chinchillas can live twenty years! We do not recommend them for children because of their care needs and energy level. Finn
*male kitten *brown tabby shorthair *Born around November 2019 -Finn came into the rescue because he was sick at a local shelter and not getting better because of the stressful situation he was in. We took him home and now he’s doing great! He’s a sweet boy who loves to play but also purrs like crazy when you pet him. He can be a little shy at first so probably no small kids. Just an all around awesome kitten who adores other cats (he must go to a home with at least one), would probably be good with dogs, and likes polite humans. He is neutered negative for FIV/Felv, microchipped, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. He will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that he cannot be declawed. Lily
*female kitten *brown tabby and white long hair *Born beginning September 2019 -Lily came to the rescue from another shelter after she she got sick there and wouldn’t eat. She was very scared of people at first but she’s gotten so much better! She’s learning that people aren’t scary, and her uri is all better! She’s still scared at first and her first instinct is to hide, so we recommend a quiet home with no small kids. We always recommend keeping new cats in a smaller room until they get used to you and then slowly giving them more territory as they get more comfortable. She loves attention and will roll over for belly rubs. She has the best little purr. She ADORES other cats and she would need to go home with one. Lily when she came to us was about 4 pounds at 6 Months. She is a TEENY cat with short little legs and a teeny tail. I cannot say for sure or guarantee as she gets older but she May potentially have munchkin in her or have some of the genes. I don’t think she’s going to get much bigger. She is spayed, negative for FIV/Felv, microchipped, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Buddy
*single male cat *orange tabby shorthair - Buddy is a sturdy 12 pounds of pure love. He loves people and other cats (dogs unknown). If you just look at him, he purrs so loud it sounds like a motor!. He loves to be petted and will roll all over so you can get all the best spots.. He was born to a stray mother in downtown Butler where the residents “wanted them gone”. Of his nine siblings he was the only one to test positive for FIV. But we know that’s no big deal! FIV positive cats live good, full lives given normal quality cat care. And they can live with other non-FIV+ cats. Since Buddy loves other cats so much, we actually would prefer if he went to a home with another kitty friend.. He has been in foster care since he was about 12 weeks old and is approximately 9 to 10 months old now. As much as his foster mom loves and adores him, he is ready for his own real family to love him forever. Buddy is neutered, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. Buddy has tested positive for FIV but negative for Felv. FIV is not a bad thing and he can live a long and normal life, even with other cats! https://images.app.goo.gl/Cj4dvnepFhLz2XGPA He will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that he cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $50 for him which includes all the vetting above.

She developed an abscess on her face which caused damage to her eye. The shelter couldn’t get her the medical care and tests she needed so she was driven three hours here to be transferred to our care! We had her fully looked at by our vet and got all her medical care done. She has a cloudy/scarred eye but the vet does not believe it needs removed. Her adopters would need to monitor it throughout her lifetime to ensure she has no issues. Poppy is such a sweet girl. She is a Velcro cat that loves to be on people and getting attention. She loves being petted and thrives with love. She can be wiggly with being held but loves to snuggle on laps and up on your chest while you watch TV. She is in a foster home with other cats and does well with them and would probably be okay with dogs with slow introductions. She is spayed, microchipped, negative for FIV/Felv, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Despite his small size, he also loves to eat! He is still takes a wee bit to warm up to new people and situations, but when he does it is worth it! He is one super great cat and somebody will be very lucky to be able to have him join their family. *gray female shorthair *about a year and a half old -Juliet, aka mama was at a shelter that we work with locally. She had been there for a while and was so terrified no one could touch her. She was defensive and freaked out and trusted no one. To top it all off, she gave birth to a litter of kittens :(. I knew she wasn’t a feral cat so I decided to take her into Judge’s Park. One of our awesome volunteers offered to foster her and the rest is history. It took her a few days where she would hiss at them but now that she knows she is safe and no one is going to hurt her, she has become a lovely cat. She loves being petted and rubs all over her foster for love and attention. She’s absolutely beautiful and just needs a family to take her home and give her a happy home for the rest of her life! I would recommend a quieter home for this girl who will understand she may need a few days to trust you. Older kids to adults would be best. I think she would benefit from living with an outgoing but friendly kitty or two! I’m not sure how she would do with dogs but I think she should be okay with slow introductions. Juliet will be adopted to an indoor only home that will not declaw her. She is spayed, microchipped, and utd on all shots. She is negative for FIV/Felv, dewormed and on flea preventative. Adoption fee is $50 which includes all the vet care above. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html

Ophelia
*female kitten *gray medium hair *Born beginning September 2019 -Ophelia came to the rescue from another shelter after she wasn’t doing well there. She was terrified and hissy, and her stress was causing her to have an eye issue. Since she’s come here she’s so much better! She’s learning that people aren’t scary, and her eye is clearing up! She’s still scared at first and her first instinct is to hide, so we recommend a quiet home with no small kids. We always recommend keeping new cats in a smaller room until they get used to you and then slowly giving them more territory as they get more outgoing. She loves chin scratches and likes being held and will snuggle into your arms. She ADORES other cats and she would need to go home with one. She is spayed, negative for FIV/Felv, microchipped, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Rick and Morty
*pair of male rats *About 6 months old as of January 2020 *blue/gray in color -Rick and Morty came all the way here from MI where they were in need of a new home. The boys are sweet. A little timid in a new place but very nice, non aggressive boys. Rick is darker and a little more outgoing, allowed me to pick him up. Morty was a little more jumpy, but once I had him and was snuggling him in a towel he was very content to be loved on. These two will be adopted as a pair and will not be separated. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $25 for the pair.
Tucker
*male kitten *brown tabby shorthair *Born mid September 2019 -We were asked to take Tucker because he was at a local shelter and was not being friendly, and then he got sick, so he had a lot of cards stacked against him. When we got him here, he was hissy and scared. We started slowly working with him and within less than 24 hours he decided he liked humans. He now runs to the front of his pen, purring and meowing for loves. He is a true shoulder kitten and prefers being held and also sitting on your shoulder. He is an expert nose rubber and muffin maker ?? Just an all around awesome kitten who adores other cats (he must go to a home with at least one), loves dogs, and likes polite humans big and small. He is neutered negative for FIV/Felv, microchipped, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. He will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that he cannot be declawed. Ned
single male *buff and white shorthair *born end of April 2019 -Ned came into the rescue after his mom, Bea, was dumped out in the country. Mom had her babies there but unfortunately the people at the property were not able to care for them so we trapped them and brought them here. Prior to coming to the rescue Ned and his siblings had never been handled! They have come leaps and bounds since then and Ned is the only one left! Ned was very scared in the beginning and it took him a while to get used to humans. He’s still a little skittish around new people but as you can see from his video, once he knows you, he loves you! He lets you pet him all over and pick him up as well, he just needs to find someone to work with him and bond with him and he will be an awesome cat, I can just tell! He adores his foster family! He would do best in a quieter home with no small children and someone who can give him time to get used to them. He would need to initially be kept in a smaller room till he got used to his new humans and then slowly given more territory so he doesn’t get too scared. Ned must go to a home with other cats as he loves them and they help him come out of his shyness a bit. He would probably be okay with polite dogs with slow introductions. Ned is neutered, negative for FIV/Felv, microchipped, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. He will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that he cannot be declawed. Millie
*female kitten *gray and white shorthair *About 2-3 months old as of October 2019 -Millie was part of a group of kittens trapped by one of our fosters because they were running loose in a factory. She is a very sweet girl that just needs some work and love. She’s not feral but she is very scared. We have been working with her and she is slowly coming around. She likes chin scratches. She has never been aggressive or tried to bite or scratch, she just needs an adopter who will work with her and show her how to trust! She would need to initially be kept in a smaller room and worked with while she got used to a new family. A quieter home with no kids and some friendly other cats would be ideal for her! She is spayed, negative for FIV/Felv, microchipped, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Chloe
**Come visit me at New Castle Petsmart!** *cabby female shorthair *about two years old -We were made aware of Chloe recently when a local restaurant let us know that there had been a stray cat hanging out there for the last month and they were concerned about how cold it was getting. We put out a trap for her and literally caught her in thirty minutes. We knew immediately that she was more than likely a drop off as she is incredibly friendly and sweet. She ADORES humans. The minute you talk to her or touch her she starts purring. She is super laid back, let’s you pick her up and love on her and just loves the fact that someone is feeding her and taking care of her. She was starving when she got here :( She is fine with our dog and our cats and would also be just fine with children as she likes our toddler. Chloe will be adopted to an indoor only home that will not declaw her. She is spayed, microchipped, and utd on all shots (rabies and FVRCP). She is negative for FIV/Felv, dewormed and on flea preventative. Adoption fee is $50 which includes all the vet care above. Soot and Storm
*pair of male guinea pigs *Approximately 1 year old *Soot is a Himalayan Abyssinian, and Storm is a black and white Peruvian -These boys came into the rescue as an owner surrender after the child couldn’t care for them anymore... They are very sweet boys. Very laid back, don’t mind being held and loved on. Storm needed a good grooming on arrival, his hair was dirty and matted and his nails were curling. They’ve both been cleaned up and treated with Revolution as a precaution and are now ready to find new furever homes! Storm and Soot must be adopted together. Adopters must keep in mind that Storm will need to be brushed at least weekly and periodically bathed and give a hair cut. Failure to do so can result in serious medical issues for him. Biscuit
*female kitten *brown tabby shorthair *Born beginning October 2019 -Biscuit came to the rescue as a transfer from another shelter when she got sick and wasn’t eating there. She had lost close to a pound, which at her size was very dangerous. Within 24 hours she was eating and happy as a clam and gained almost a pound in less than a week! Biscuit is literally the best kitten. She adores people (big and little), loves other cats and other animals, including dogs, and would rather be carried around than put down. She is a champion nose rubber! Just an all around awesome kitten who can go to any sort of family. She is spayed, negative for FIV/Felv, microchipped, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Ted
*brown/white dwarf hamster *Born about summer 2019 -Ted came to us as a transfer from another shelter after he developed an infection in his scent gland. We got him here and treated him and now he’s doing just fine and ready to find his new furever home! Ted is a super awesome little boy. Loves attention and has no problem being picked up and held. Not bitey at all. He’d be a great ham for an older child or adult. He loves running on his wheel! Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html Adoption fee is $15
Moe
*orange/white shirt haired Syrian hamster *Born end of 2019 -Moe came to us as a rescue along with Curly. He’s literally just a little baby and still learning how the world works. He allows you to pick him up but is very bouncy and doesn’t sit still yet. Just needs to learn to be more comfortable and not as jumpy. He’s also young so that should come in time. He doesn’t bite but I would recommend adults only for now. He LOVES running on his wheel and has lots of energy. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html Adoption fee is $15.
Curly
*white long haired Syrian hamster *Born about fall 2019 -Curly came to us as a rescue along with Moe. He’s a beautiful little boy and is quite calm. He’s learning to get used to being picked up and held but is very sweet and has never tried to bite. Just needs to learn to be more comfortable and not as jumpy. He’s also young so that should come in time. He’d be a great ham for an older child or adult. He’s pretty lazy and prefers to nap in his house. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html Adoption fee is $15.
Mimi
**Come meet me at Petsmart in New Castle** *female kitten *gray and white shorthair *About 2-3 months old as of October 2019 -Mimi was part of a group of kittens trapped by one of our fosters because they were running loose in a factory. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $50 for a single kitten which includes all the vetting above.
Boomerang
Breed: small size cinnamon/dwarf mix Size: About 3-4 pounds DOB: Approximately summer 2018 we’re guessing Reason in Rescue: This little boy was part of a cruelty seizure of a bunch of dfa animals. They were living in teeny hutches with literally feet of feces underneath them :(. They came to us from another rescue that had taken them in because they didn’t normally deal with bunnies! Personality: Boomerang is a little bun that is learning that the world is not a scary place. These guys apparently were super scared when they got to the last rescue but they have been getting a lot of socialization and are doing better. He can be very nervous and tends to ping around when he’s scared (thinking that is where he got his name lol), but once he calms down he does allow you to hold and pet him. He just needs a quiet home with someone who can teach him that different things are okay! He also will calm down as he gets older! Friends: He is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female. Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. Suggested adoption donation is $60 which includes his neuter and microchip.
Sunny
Breed: lionhead Size: small size male DOB: 7/7/19 Reason in Rescue: This boy came from a big group of bunnies we took from VA. They were part of a cruelty seizure and were being bred to be fed to dogs :(. Sunny was part of two litters that came to Judge’s Park with their moms. Personality: Sunny was named because of his sweet personality. Always friendly and wanting attention! He’s a sweet little boy who lives on pets and snuggles. Friends: he is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female after his neuter and his hormones dissipate Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2').
Lisa
*single female kitten *cabby shorthair *born end of April 2019 -Lisa came into the rescue after her mom, Bea, was dumped out in the country. Mom had her babies there but unfortunately the people at the property were not able to care for them so we trapped them and brought them here. Prior to coming to the rescue Lisa and her siblings had never been handled! They have come leaps and bounds since then and are ready to start finding homes. Lisa is one of the more outgoing of the four and seems to like being petted though she can still be scared with new things. These guys would do best in a quieter home with no small children and someone who can work a little more with them to get used to people and being spoiled house cats! They would need to initially be kept in a smaller room till they got used to their new humans and then slowly given more territory so they don’t get too scared. They would do awesome with other friendly cats. They are scared of dogs so either a dog free house or with very slow introductions to dogs. Lisa is spayed, negative for FIV/Felv, microchipped, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $50 for a single cat, $75 for a pair which includes all the vetting above.

**Come meet me at Petsmart in New Castle** *male kitten *orange tabby and white shorthair *About 2-3 months old as of October 2019 -Chevy was part of a group of kittens trapped by one of our fosters because they were running loose in a factory. They were very shy at first since they had never been handled by humans but they are doing wonderful with some love! Chevy is a doll baby. A little nervous at first with new people and situations but once he knows you aren’t going to hurt him he’s a little purr monster. Rolls all over for petting and love and adores affection. He has the loudest little purr! He is neutered negative for FIV/Felv, microchipped, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. He will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that he cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $75 for a single kitten which includes all the vetting above.

Breed: Lionhead Size: Small size female, about 3 lbs DOB: 6/23/19 Reason in Rescue: These girls came from a group of bunnies we took in from VA. They were taken in a cruelty seizure as they were being used to feed dogs. :(. May and April were born to one of the mothers we took. Personality: These girls are super friendly. They like humans a lot and don’t mind being picked up and handled. They are doing very well with their litter box as well. They are getting spayed on December 10th and will be ready to go home after that. Friends: April and May are a bonded pair and must go home together. Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2' for a single bunny). Suggested adoption donation is $75 for the pair which includes their spays and microchips.
Missy and Minnie
*female Guinea pig, *agouti and white Abby *Under a year -Missy came in as an owner surrender to Judge’s Park. She had been housed with males, unfortunately related to her, and had multiple litters where none survived. When she came she had a one day old baby with her with severe malformations of his face who unfortunately passed away within 24 hours. We knew we had to keep her on a pregnancy watch because she wasn’t separated from the males prior to coming to us. Two months later she amazingly gave birth to two perfect little babies. Missy is a super sweet piggy. She does initially run as all pigs do but once you get her she enjoys being held and getting love. She panics when separated from her babies (probably because she lost a couple in the past), so she must be adopted with her female baby, no exceptions. Interested adopters should check our www.guineapigcages.com for information on recommended cages and https://guinealynx.info/ for information on care and feeding. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $20 for a single pig and $35 for a pair.

Clementine
Breed: some sort of lop cross Size: should be about 5 lbs full grown DOB: Approximately July 2019 Reason in Rescue: A college student purchased Clementine and unfortunately realized how much work bunnies can be, so he decided to surrender her to us. Personality: Clementine is very outgoing and friendly. She likes attention and petting and is very happy and playful. She’s a little nervous about being picked up but settles in very well once you hold her. She is doing well with her litter box as well. Clementine will be spayed on 12/10 and will be available for adoption after that. Friends: Clementine is a good candidate to be bonded to a neutered male. Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Ozzy
*male kitten *lynx point shorthair *Born approximately early 9/19 -Ozzy came to a local shelter as a very feral, unhandled kitten. He has never been touched by a human. In the shelter, he was scared of everything and not coming around so our rescue stepped in and took him. It literally took less than 24 hours to realize that humans are AWESOME. He did a complete turnaround and he is now one of the sweetest, most affectionate babies ever. He loves people (big and small), he loves other cats, our dog, and even bunnies. He is really not scared of anything now and loves to play! We are requiring that he does go to a home with cats at least as he does best with a playmate. He is neutered, negative for FIV/Felv, microchipped, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. He will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that he cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $75 for a single kitten which includes all the vetting above.
Molly
Breed: English spot Size: About 4-5 pounds DOB: Approximately fall 2018 Reason in Rescue: This girl was surrendered due to “aggression.” Turns out it was just a way too small of a cage and not being spayed! Personality: This is the kind of bunny that is my favorite. She’s spunky and will tell you when she’s not happy with the situation she’s in. She is very, very smart. When she knows you and learns you won’t hurt her, she loves you and begs for petting and snuggles! She needs a home that can work with her on trust. Small Children visibly make her tense up so I believe that was part of the problem in the past home so I don’t recommend any small children. She is great with her litter box! Friends: she is a good candidate to be bonded to a neutered male. Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. Suggested adoption donation is $60 which includes her spay and microchip.
Cotton
*dwarf hamster female White and tan *about 4-6 months old -Cotton, so named for her similarity to a cotton ball, came into the rescue after a group of them was supposedly dumped on someone’s porch and then brought to a local shelter. They had to be kept on pregnancy watch as they were kept with males, but we have passed that with no issues which is great! All these guys had to be separated as they were fighting so they cannot live with other hamsters. These girls are extremely tame, enjoy being picked up, and are so laid back they’ll lie on their backs in your hands. I don’t recommend them for little kids as they are very small. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $15 per hamster.
Beast
*single male young cat *brown tabby and white medium hair *Almost a year old as of September 2019 -Beast was rescued by one of our fosters who took him in and fully vetted him. He is now ready for a new home! Per his foster: “ I came to know of a hurt cat that had been suffering for about a week. I made a vet appointment, went to get him and he was not in good shape. I’ll spare the yucky details. I made the immediate decision to take him to the emergency vet. They basically told me to put him down, but if I wanted to try to save him it would be at least $2000. They believed he had a urinary blockage so they inserted a catheter and cleaned off the maggots. I was able to get him into Frankie’s Friends 2 days later where they checked everything and did lab work and everything came back great!
Beast is now a healthy, happy, loving and playful beautiful guy. He deserves the best of life. Beast is now on a high quality diet rather than prescription and doing well, so he can stay on store bought food. I believe he has a broken tail, though it causes him no pain and he uses the litter box fine. He needs a quiet home with adults only or older children that won’t be to rough with him or scare him, but give him all the love he craves. I named him beast because he came to me this ugly miserable hurting animal and with love and care emerged beautiful and sweet like in beauty and the beast“ She says Beast is a sweet and snuggly lap Cat! Beast is neutered, negative for FIV/Felv, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. He will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that he cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $50 for him which includes all the vetting above.
Q-tip
*dwarf hamster female White and tan *about 2-4 months old -Q-tip, so named because she’s little and cottoney, came into the rescue after a group of them was supposedly dumped on someone’s porch and then brought to a local shelter. They had to be kept on pregnancy watch as they were kept with males, but we have passed that with no issues which is great! All these guys had to be separated as they were fighting so they cannot live with other hamsters. *pair of female guinea pigs *Sophia is a brown and white teddy haired girl, and Dorothy is a long haired female *Born approximately end of 2016 (three years old) -Sophia and her daughter Dorothy were surrendered to us due to allergies in their family. They are two very sweet little girls. Typical guinea pigs where they initially run when you go to pick them up but once you catch them they are fine and enjoy being petted and held. They are bonded and must go as a pair. River
*cabby female shorthair *about 4 years old old -River was taken in by one of our volunteers with her babies. She is now ready to find her furever home! Here is what her foster mom has to say: “River is the perfect girl! She loves to be petted and give affection and will follow you around waiting patiently for you to do it! She had a rough start to life. As a farm cat, she was just having litter after litter of kittens. The farmer didn’t feed her much because he wanted to “keep her hungry “so she would be a good mouser. He said she was feral and so mean because she would attack him every time he went out to feed her. We know now it was because she was starving! When she was rescued she was nursing a litter of kittens and weighed only 5 pounds! She was such a good mommy to her kittens, but her days of that are now done. She is now looking for the pampered life of an indoor only, beloved member of the family. She initially wasn't a fan of other cats, but has learned to get along with them in her foster home. She cannot wait to have her own family for the first time in her life and whoever gets to be that lucky family will not regret it! River will be adopted to an indoor only home that will not declaw her. She is spayed, and utd on all shots. She is negative for FIV/Felv, dewormed and on flea preventative. Adoption fee is $50 which includes all the vet care above. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html

Four female mice
*group of four female mice *between 6 months and a year -These four girls came to us from a kill shelter in VA where they had been abandoned. Luckily they are super sweet. Two of the younger girls are a little more “bouncy” when you pick them up, but none of them bite and they are okay with being held. They’re awesome little girls, full of personality and very smart! They are awesome little pets for older kids or adults. We will adopt these girls out as two pairs or all four together. Adoption fee is $20 for a pair and $30 for a quad. We did have to treat them for fleas upon arrival but other than that they are in good shape. These guys are very sweet, though obviously scared to be in a new situation. All three of them must be adopted out together and we will be very careful on who they go to because of Mama being a hairless guinea pig. Hairless pig experience preferred. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee for the trio is $60.

Baby
Breed: Rex/lionhead Size: About 5 pounds DOB: Approximately four years old as of 9/19 Reason in Rescue: this girl was surrendered because her owners were moving. Personality: Baby is as sweet as her name suggests. A sweet baby girl. She likes attention and snuggles and doesn’t mind being petted. She’s a beautiful girl as well. Baby came to us spayed so she is ready to find a forever home! Friends: She is a good candidate to be bonded to a neutered male. Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). Roland
Breed: Jersey Wooley Size: About 3 pounds DOB: Approximately summer 2018 Reason in Rescue: Roland was surrendered to us because his owner had to move. Unfortunately he was severely matted and covered in fleas :( Personality: Roland is such a cutie pie and a very sweet little bunny. He likes being petted and doesn’t mind being held. He is getting used to being brushed out and trimmed because I don’t think he had ever has that done before. He has been treated for fleas with Revolution. He needs an adopter that will groom him a lot with his coat. Roland will be ready to to go home after he is neutered, probably the beginning of October. *single male kitten *orange tabby shorthair *About 2 months old as of September 2019 -Coda came into our rescue as a very sick little baby who had been brought to a local shelter. We took him into the rescue to care for him and he is now completely healed and big enough to find his forever home! Coda is a very sweet, friendly little boy who loves to play but also loves to snuggle! He lives with a toddler, a dog, and other cats in his foster home so would do good in any kind of house. He must go home with at least one other cat as he LOVES them and needs a friend. Coda is neutered, negative for FIV/Felv, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. He will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that he cannot be declawed. Betty
*single female kitten *buff tabby and white *born end of April 2019 -Betty came in with her sister Bonnie from VA! They were part of a transport to get cats out of kill shelters into the south and into rescues in the north that can find them forever homes! Bonnie has been adopted and now Betty is waiting! She is insanely sweet, loves people, and purrs non stop! She is super friendly and would be good for any type of home! She even loves my toddler. She lives with a dog, other cats, and even rabbits here and does wonderful with all of them. Betty is spayed, negative for FIV/Felv, microchipped, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Cassie
Breed: some sort of Californian mix Size: About 5 pounds DOB: Approximately early 2018 Reason in Rescue: Cassie and two other males came to us from a hoarding situation up north where over 30 rabbits were rescued. Personality: You can tell Cassie hasn’t had many positive experiences with people. She’s skittish but she is very sweet and just needs to learn that people are not bad. She’s settling in quickly here and would probably do well in a quiet home that can take their time with her and spoil her! She doesn’t seem to mind being held and lets you pet her. She is very scared of dogs, probably due to past incidents so we don’t recommend her being around one. She is very good with her litter box Friends: She is a good candidate to be bonded to a neutered male.
Jasper
*male teddy guinea pig *agouti and white *Approximately one year old *single male Jasper came into the rescue, surrendered with two other males. He was paired up with his brother Charlie, but they unfortunately unbonded. Jasper is a sweet boy. He runs initially when you go to pick him up as all guinea pigs do but he warms up fast and seems to enjoy being held and petted. He’s a beautiful boy. Please check out https://www.guineapigcages.com/ for information on our recommended housing as well as https://guinealynx.info/ for information on care and feeding. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $25 for a single pig, $45 for a pair.
Yogurt
***Yogurt had now been adopted and returned TWICE, through no fault of her own. Please keep in mind that she does need regular brushing and clipping with clippers or scissors using special care with their thin skin. It is VERY IMPORTANT for a bun like her as her hair continually grows and can mat." *** Breed: Fuzzy lop/angora female Size: Medium/large size DOB: spring 2017 Reason in Rescue: This girl came from a large group of angoras/long haired buns seized from a neglectful breeder in IN. We took two from this case that needed to find new furever homes! She was adopted out first to someone who decided they didn’t want to deal with her grooming and second to someone who returned her because they had to move, covered in fleas and terribly matted :(. She’s had a hard time of it. Personality: Yogurt is a very sweet girl. Very friendly and outgoing, she loves being petted and doesn't mind being held! She allows grooming and hair trimming with no problems. She did great as a free range bunny in her last home. Yogurt has one ear due to probably being overgroomed from her mom when she was a baby, or damage from living with other bunnies. It doesn't affect her. Long haired breeds do require more upkeep than a normal bun and regular brushing to prevent matting, so keep this in mind if looking to adopt.
Marge
*single female kitten *tortie and white longhair *born end of April 2019 -Marge came into the rescue after her mom, Bea, was dumped out in the country. Mom had her babies there but unfortunately the people at the property were not able to care for them so we trapped them and brought them here. Prior to coming to the rescue Marge and her siblings had never been handled! They have come leaps and bounds since then and are ready to start finding homes. Marge was one of the most scared out of the four but she is getting so much better. She still sometimes hisses when you go to pick her up but she likes being held and likes her chin scratched. Marge is spayed, negative for FIV/Felv, microchipped, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $75 for a single kitten, $125 for a pair which includes all the vetting above.
Charlie
*male shorthair guinea pig *brown, Black, and and white *Approximately one and a half years old *Single male Charlie came into the rescue, surrendered with two other males. He was paired up with his brother Jasper, but they unfortunately unbonded. Charlie is a sweet boy and quite laid back.
Sally
Breed: probably a lionhead harlequin cross Size: About 3-4 pounds DOB: Approximately December 2018 to January 2019 Reason in Rescue: This little girl was being sold at a seedy pet store so someone picked her up and brought her to us to find a home. Personality: Sally is a very sweet, very outgoing little girl. She loves being petted but is not a huge fan of being held. She’s a petite girl so would probably do best in a home with no small children handling her. She uses her litter box very well. She will be available after she gets spayed the week of the 6th.
Heidi
Breed: some sort of large breed mix, possibly Flemmie. Size: About 8 pounds DOB: Approximately mid to early 2017 Reason in Rescue: This girl came from a local shelter that was full. She was also having some behavior issues so she came to us for rehab. Personality: Heidi is a very special girl. Before she came to rescue she obviously had never known a kind touch or word. She was very defensive at the shelter and would try and bite if you’d reach in front of her. Trying to pick her up or pet her was also a challenge, though less out of aggression than just fear. Since she’s been spayed and arrived here with us she is still scared but she is calming down a lot. Other than some grunting she has not shown any aggression here. We are going slow with her and teaching her that petting and handling is not bad. I see a very sweet girl in there that needs a quiet and understanding forever home to work with her. She is litter trained and would do good as a free range bun. Friends: Heidi may be a good candidate to be bonded to a neutered male.
Bebe
Breed: Dutch Size: About 4 pounds DOB: Approximately spring 2018 Reason in Rescue: Bebe came to us with the same old story of a lot of bunnies. The child lost interest in her so she was not wanted anymore :( Personality: Bebe is a super sweet, very loving girl who just wants you to pet and snuggle her. She runs right over for attention and absolutely loves her face and back petted. She’s very good with her litter box and would be great for any sort of family. She was kept on poor pellets and I don’t think much hay so she is a little “round” so her adopter would need to keep her in a good diet with good amounts of exercise to get her into more healthy shape.
Ginny, Padma, and Parvati
*trio of young female rats. *born approximately May 2019 *Ginny (Gray) and Parvati and Padma (albino) -These three girls were dumped at a shelter by someone who decided they didn’t want them as babies. Unfortunately we had only a guess at their true age and they were still being housed with their brother so we were not sure whether they were old enough to be pregnant. We kept them on pregnancy watch and thankfully they were not so they are ready to find new furever homes! These three girls are super sweet , are okay with being picked up and held, and are very bonded so they must stay together. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $30 for the trio.
Tucker
Breed: harlequin Rex Size: About 4-5 lbs DOB: Approximately 1 year old. Reason in Rescue: Tucker was given up because a previous owner could not keep him. Personality: Tucker is super sweet, likes attention and petting and doesn’t mind being picked up. He uses his litter box very well also! Just an overall really good bun!
Bea
*buff and white female shorthair *about a year and a half old to two years old -Beatrice came into the rescue because she had been dumped on someone’s property with her four kittens. She is incredibly friendly and was easily caught thought we did have to trap her babies. Considering what happened to her, this girl hasn’t let a lot phase her! Bea is insanely friendly, absolutely adores people (adults and children!), gets along with dogs and cats and would literally be good in any sort of home! She adores being petted and snuggles and likes laps! She makes the best happy cat muffins and is just so grateful for an inside home and a full belly! Bea will be adopted to an indoor only home that will not declaw her. She is spayed, microchipped, and utd on all shots (rabies and FVRCP). She is negative for FIV/Felv, dewormed and on flea preventative. Adoption fee is $50 which includes all the vet care above. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html
Homer
single male kitten *buff longhair *born end of April 2019 -Homer came into the rescue after his mom, Bea, was dumped out in the country. Mom had her babies there but unfortunately the people at the property were not able to care for them so we trapped them and brought them here. Prior to coming to the rescue Homer and his siblings had never been handled! They have come leaps and bounds since then and are ready to start finding homes. Homer was one of the worst healthwise when they all arrived. He was emaciated and dehydrated and we weren’t sure he was going to survive the first 24 hours. With lots of TLC he rebounded and is now the fattest of the group! Homer is still a little shy and skittish but allows handling and petting. He’s learning to like touch and doing really well. Homer is neutered, negative for FIV/Felv, microchipped, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. He will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that he cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $75 for a single kitten, $125 for a pair which includes all the vetting above.
Seraphina
*single female Syrian hamster *under a year old *tan/cream -This little girl was surrendered to a local shelter. Unfortunately she was brought in with a male and had to go on pregnancy watch. Luckily she was not pregnant and can now find a new furever home! She was a little jumpy when we first got her but she has warmed up a lot and is now used to being held and loved on. She’s a very sweet girl. She is a Syrian hamster and they are a little larger so we recommend a larger size hamster safe cage for them so they have more room. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $15
Opal
**Opal is our featured adoptable, so his adoption fee has been reduced to $30** Breed: Small size breed mix Size: About 5 pounds DOB: Approximately early 2017 Reason in Rescue: This boy was part of a large group of bunnies rescued from someone’s garage. We’ve taken three of them in to our rescue total. Personality: Opal is one of those special bunnies that I personally love. He didn’t have a lot of positive human interaction growing up so he can be a little feisty. He will box and grunt at you if you mess with his stuff or put your hands in front of him. Thank being said, when you go slow and work with him and pet him from above, he LOVES attention. He loves being petted and likes being held. He just needs to learn to not be defensive and find a home that will teach him that everything is okay and you can relax a bit now! He is perfectly litter trained.
Remus
*single male rat *black and white hoodie *approximately two months old as of July 2019 -This little guy was dumped off at a local shelter with what we presume are his little sisters, because they were not wanted. Luckily we were able to take them into our rescue and find them new homes, so our little Remus is looking for a real family! He is a very sweet and curious boy, a little bit skittish initially but once he knows you he is very sweet and likes skritches and riding on your shoulder. We would prefer he goes to a home with other male rats to be friends with so he is not a single rat. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $15 for a single rat.
Wilfred
*single male kitten *black shorthair *Approximately 2 months old as of July 2019 -Wilfred and his siblings came to us when they were trapped in a neighborhood after being born under someone’s porch. Edward
*male Abyssinian guinea pig *tan and gray *Approximately two years old -Edward came into the rescue as a single guinea pig, surrendered with two other males. Out of the three, he wasn’t in the best health. He reeked of cigarettes, and had red eyes and some discharge. Since he’s been here he is slowly making improvements, eating well and starting to look a lot better. We’ve treated him with Revolution and he is now ready to find a forever home! Edward is a sweet boy. He runs initially when you go to pick him up as all guinea pigs do but he warms up fast and seems to enjoy being held and petted. He has lived with guinea pigs in the past but had to be separated as he fought with one of the males, so he could potentially live with a submissive male. Please check out https://www.guineapigcages.com/ for information on our recommended housing as well as https://guinealynx.info/ for information on care and feeding. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $25 for a single pig, $45 for a pair.

single female kitten *buff tabby *born April 29,2019 -This group of girl kittens were born at Judge’s Park! We took in their heavily pregnant mom and gave her a safe place to have her kids! These guys are all very sweet and friendly, love people and other animals and would be a good fit for any household! These girls are all spayed, negative for FIV/Felv, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. They will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that they cannot be declawed. Emmett
*single male kitten *gray shorthair *Approximately 2-3 months old as of July 2019 -Emmett came to us as a stray. One of our friends heard him crying in a bush on her property but couldn’t reach him. My husband came to the rescue to catch him and we held onto him until he was big enough to find his furever home! Emmett is a sweet boy though he can be skittish around new people and things. We recommend a quieter household with no really small children. He loves other cats and really needs to go to a home with at least one other. He is a sweet little purr monster that will snuggle all day with you when he trusts you! Emmett is neutered, negative for FIV/Felv, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea preventative. Prue, Piper, Phoebe, and Paige
*group of four female rats *albino *Prue the mom and her three daughters! *Around 1 year old -These girls came into the shelter as an owner surrender cause their person couldn’t keep them anymore. They are scared because they are in a new place but all of them allowed me to pick them up and hold them and even let me smooch some bellies :). They are very nice girls and I know once they settled into a forever home they would be awesome snuggle/shoulder rats. Our pews are harder to adopt out and a group of four is even harder but we are hoping someone will be interested in giving these awesome girls a forever home! They must go as a group. As a heads up, the smaller girls can squeeze out of ferret cage bars so they would need a multiple level cage specifically tailored to rats. Adoption fee for our rats are usually $15 a piece but we would do $50 for the four. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html
Winnie
*single female kitten *black shorthair *Approximately 2 months old as of July 2019 -Winnie and her siblings came to us when they were trapped in a neighborhood after being born under someone’s porch. She was initially skittish but Winnie changed her mind very quickly! She can be a little tentative at first but once she knows you just want to pet her she loves you and will purr like crazy. Gus and Oliver
*pair of male Guinea pigs *Gus is 1 year old and Oliver is 3 *Gus is a tan and white shorthair and Oliver is an agouti and white Abyssinian -These boys came into the rescue because their owners had some hard times and couldn’t keep them anymore. These guys are absolutely awesome little boys. They let you pet them and pick them up without running and genuinely seem to enjoy humans and attention! They have gotten along quite well here and seem to be very bonded, even sleeping together. Oliver has an old injury to his foot, very obviously a break that was never fixed. It does not affect his walking and actually doesn’t seem to bother him at all so we are just making adopters aware to keep an eye on it. If it seemed to bother him we were prepared to amputate but it really doesn’t and we’d rather not put him through an unnecessary surgery. We recommend guinea pig adopters take a look at www.guineapigcages.com for info on housing and www.guinealynx.info for information on care and feeding. These boys require at LEAST a 4 x 2 area to be happy. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee for the pair is $35
Loki
Breed: lionhead Size: About 4 pounds DOB: Approximately early 2018 Reason in Rescue: Loki and his brother Thor have a very sad story. They were found on a farm dumped in a carrier. They contacted us and once we got them we realized these guys had been very neglected. They were both filthy, urine stained, and sun bleached. Thor has a huge wound we later found out was caused by an animal bite. They were neglected and then dumped :(. Personality: Despite his beginning, both boys are super sweet. I think when Loki got here he was amazed that someone was actually taking care of him. He had all the food he wanted and a clean area and toys of all things! These people just wanted to pet and love on him and brush him and he couldn’t believe his luck. Sometimes he gets a little nervous when you go to get him but he settles in after a bit and likes to be petted and held. He’s just an awesome little boy. He also uses his litter box very well. We believe he is actually black and that color will come out when he sheds out his damaged coat.
Ellie
*single female Guinea pig *black and tan shorthair *Approximately 2 years old -Ellie and another female Lucy were surrendered to us because of severe allergies in the family. They tried everything they could do but unfortunately the child was deathly allergic :(. They were very loved girls and they were very sad to give them up. Ellie is a very sweet girl but can be very skittish. She needs some work on handling so a home with no small kids handling her would be ideal. Once you pick her up she settles in well and likes being petted. Ellie can be adopted to a home with another female guinea pig or neutered male if introduced slowly. Previous efforts to bond her with Lucy were not successful but if someone is willing to try to work on them they can be adopted out together. Interested adopters can check out www.guinealynx.org for more information on Guinea pig care or www.guineapigcages.com for recommenced housing. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $20 for a single and $35 for a pair.
Pancake and waffles
*Pair of female rats *1 year old *Black berkshire -These girls were surrendered due to allergies. Unfortunately it seems like the people didn't handle them a ton so we are working on them. They are sweet girls and have shown no signs of aggression, they're just nervous about being picked up. They are very curious and I think they'll be very easy to hand train. Waffles has a crooked tail, from an injury when she was young! They are very sweet girls, and they really just need someone with some rattie experience and maybe some friendly female rats to give them some confidence in where they are! Adoption fee is $25 for the pair. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html

I think when Thor got here he was amazed that someone was actually taking care of him. He had all the food he wanted and a clean area and toys of all things! These people just wanted to pet and love on him and brush him and he couldn’t believe his luck. His wound was very extensive and it has required months of care; some days we weren’t even sure he would survive. He is now cleared and beautifully healed with just a small bit of scar tissue on his neck they doesn’t affect him. Also, due to bad diet his teeth didn’t line up properly so it took a couple of tooth trims to get them to normal but now he’s doing great! Sometimes he gets a little nervous when you go to get him but he settles in after a bit and likes to be petted and held. He’s just an awesome little boy. He also uses his litter box very well. Friends: he is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female. Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). She gave birth to four healthy babies who are steadily growing so momma will be available for adoption soon! Annabelle is one of those once in a lifetime cats. She is amazing. Friendly and sweet, loves being petted and held, purrs like crazy for love and absolutely loves every creature she’s ever met! She loves our dog (he’s literally her best friend), loves any cat she meets, and is even good with our rabbits here. She’s awesome and will be available to go to a new home the beginning of July so we are taking applications on her now! Annabelle will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Annabelle is negative for FIV/FELV, utd on all shots, dewormed, on flea preventative, and will be spayed and microchipped before adoption. Sad Eyes
*single female kitten *brown tabby and white shorthair *born April 6, 2019 *This group of kittens were born at a local shelter to a very scared mom that the staff members were barely able to touch. They needed out of there and fast, so at only a few days old they moved to one of our foster homes where they have grown up big and strong and will soon be ready to find their homes! These guys are super cute and all have great little personalities and are super playful. Sad eyes is the shyest of the four so would probably do best in a quieter home but she loves her humans and loves to snuggle! They will be available to go home by mid June but we are taking applications for them now. She will be spayed, microchipped, and utd on all shots. She is already tested for FIV/Felv, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an INDOOR ONLY home and adopters will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Lucy
*single female Guinea pig *tricolor shorthair *Approximately 2 years old -Lucy and another female Ellie were surrendered to us because of severe allergies in the family. They tried everything they could do but unfortunately the child was deathly allergic :(. They were very loved girls and they were very sad to give them up. Lucy is a pretty chill girl who likes attention and isn’t fazed by too much. The first day she was here one of our cats climbed in her cage to meet her and she politely sniffed noses with him! She’s a very sweet girl, though as with 99% of guinea pigs, plays hard to get. Once you pick her up she settles in well and likes being petted. Lucy can be adopted to a home with another female guinea pig or neutered male if introduced slowly. Previous efforts to bond her with Ellie were not successful but if someone is willing to try to work on them they can be adopted out together. Leia
*single female kitten *black shorthair *born mid March 2019 *Leia came into the rescue as an underage kitten from a local shelter. She had lice and diarrhea and was just a mess. Since we’ve had her at the shelter we’ve treated her for everything and she’s now big enough to spay and adopt to a new family! Leia is insanely friendly, loves to run around and play, and will climb your leg for attention lol. She’s not scared of anything and super purry and sweet. She is friendly with dogs, cats, and other small animals here at the rescue. She would do best in a home with at least one other younger cat to play and wrestle with! Leia will be available to go home by mid June but we are taking applications for her now. She will be spayed, microchipped, and utd on all shots. She is already tested for FIV/Felv, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an INDOOR ONLY home and adopters will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Sharon
Breed: Chinchilla rabbit
Size: Large size female, about 8 pounds
DOB: She was a stray but we believe her to be between a year and two years.
Reason in Rescue: This girl was running loose in a neighborhood as a stray :(
Personality: Sharon we believe was our running loose for a while. When
she came here she was very terrified and shut down. As she’s settled
in she’s realized that we are here to spoil her and love her and she is
coming around. She can be scared initially when being handled but once
she knows you she calms down very fast. She’s a big sweet girl and
likes being petted. As with most large bunnies she doesn’t like being
picked up too much but she tolerates it. She had been very good with her
litter box and will do better as well now that she’s spayed.
Friends: She is a good candidate to be bonded to a neutered male.
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as
possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). Adoption

They needed out of there and fast, so at only a few days old they moved to one of our foster homes where they have grown up big and strong and will soon be ready to find their homes! These guys are super cute and all have great little personalities and are super playful. Itty Bitty is the smallest but has the biggest personality! She loves attention and will yell for pets! Itty Bitty we believe has very mild Cerebellar Hypoplasia which causes her to wobble and tremor a bit. It does not affect her in the slightest and she is the first to climb something or jump around! They will be available to go home by mid June but we are taking applications for them now. She will be spayed, microchipped, and utd on all shots. Gus
Update 4/2019: Our sweet and lovely Gus has now been given approval by the vet to find his forever home! Gus spent months in a local shelter with chronic skin problems. He was unfortunately unadoptable in the state he was in so he came to our rescue! Since he has left the stress of the shelter his skin has cleared up wonderfully and the dermatologist we took him to believes he just has some food sensitivities that flared up badly but now he is good. He is on a prescription food and the adopter would need to monitor to make sure he doesn’t have any flare ups. *single neutered male cat *gray and white shorthair *approximately a year and a half old -Gus came into the rescue from a local shelter where he had lived for months. He had constant skin issues at the shelter where he was covered in sores and missing hair. The shelter did every test and treatment they could but nothing would make him better for an extended amount of time. They ran out of options so he had to find a rescue. We gladly took him here as he is such an amazing little boy. He’s outgoing and friendly, makes all the happy paws, and we’ve found out since he’s been here that he LOVES everyone! Adults, children, dogs, and cats. He’s just an absolute lover. He even lets us rub his belly! The funny thing is too, within a week of being out of the shelter, all his sores had healed and no new ones have formed. We are guessing now that it was stress related but he has an appointment with a dermatologist to make sure there is nothing else going on. Once has the all clear from the vet he will be able to find his forever home! Gus is already neutered, microchipped, utd on all vaccines (FVRCP and rabies), negative for FIV and Felv, dewormed, and on flea preventative. Gus will be adopted to an indoor only home and must never be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $50 which includes all of the above vet care.
Bernie
Breed: Californian Size: About 4 pounds DOB: Approximately September 2018 Reason in Rescue: This little guys family didn’t have time for him anymore :( Personality: This guy is sweet sweet sweet. He’s super curious about everything and likes being petted and getting attention. He also doesn’t seem to like being held and has used his litter box well! He’ll be neutered the week of the 13th and will be available to go home after that. Willow and Patch
*pair of female Guinea pigs *Willow is white and chocolate and about 6 months old. Patch is probably closer to 9 months. -These girls came into the rescue from someone who’s granddaughter has lost interest. From what I could tell, they never really cared for them. They were in a filthy little cage, and had no idea anything about them, like how old they were. In the bag of terrible food they gave me there fruit loops and cheezits! I’m amazed they survived to their current age! Being here with a good diet and a good environment, they are thriving. They are very sweet girls and don’t mind being held. They are young and still a little jumpy but not too bad. They are good pets for pretty much any family! Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Please check out www.guineapigcages.com for more information on recommended housing and https://www.guinealynx.info/ for information on caring for piggies. These girls must be adopted together. Adoption fee is $35 for the pair.
Siegfried
Breed: These guys are angoras, but not purebred as their brother looks like a dutch

luckily a rescue stepped in and saved them.
Personality: Out of the three brothers Siegfried is the last one left!
He is super friendly and sweet and is good with handling and being
brushed. He is litter box trained. Please keep in mind that angoras
need almost daily brushing to keep from matting.
Friends: Siegfried is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female.
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as
possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). Adoption
process: An adoption application must be filled out

Paisley
Breed: Mini lop Size: Will be about 4-5 pounds full grown DOB: Approximately October 2018 Reason in Rescue:This little girl was gotten for a kid and then that kid went to college. Guess what? No one in the family wanted to deal with her, so at the young age of 6 months, they wanted to get rid of her :( So she came to us to find a home! Personality: This little girl is a typical lop, very sweet and outgoing. I don't think she's been handled a ton as she really doesn't like being picked up and held and doesn't know things she's not supposed to do like chew on stuff and be annoyed when you tell her no lol. We're going to get her used to being handled, as well as get her spayed which will calm her down a lot! She's a very good bunny, just needs some kind people to work with her! Despite her cute looks I wouldn't recommend her for kids. She is very good with her litter box.
Rocco and S'mores
*Pair of male guinea pigs *S'mores is one and shorthair, Rocco is 2 and Abyssinnian *S'mores and Rocco came in as a pair to our rescue because they were given away for free on craigslist (which tends to attract a very bad outcome for small animals). These two are very sweet boys, and though they do the typical "run away when you go to pick them up" guinea pig thing, they are very sweet once you get them, and quite laid back. Jack, Spike, and Shadow
*male Guinea pig trio *red shorthair crested (Jack), and two black/tan shorthair males (Shadow and Spike) *approximately 2 1/2 to 3 years old -we agreed to take in this trio of guinea pigs when contacted because the owner had allergies. When they got here, we were glad we had agreed to take them. They were living together in a cage I wouldn’t put a single guinea pig in. Their nails hadn’t been cut in a very long time and were curling and growing almost back into their feet. Shadow had a very large abscess that we have since treated. They were not being taken care of properly. They are now doing well and ready to find a new home! These boys are very sweet. They are typical Guinea pigs in that they run when you go to pick them up, but once you get them they are very sweet. They are big cuddly boys. These three are bonded and must stay together. They need a large cage area to live in. Check out www.guineapigcages.com for information on housing and https://www.guinealynx.info/ for information on care and housing. If interested in adoption, please fill out our adoption application at https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $50 for the trio.
Cody
Breed: Mini lop Size: About 5 pounds DOB: Approximately August of last year Reason in Rescue: This adorable little guy was a surrender to another rescue that was too full so we took him as we had some open cages. Personality: Cody is a very nice boy. He's very interested in people and likes being petted and doesn't seem to mind being picked up. He's learning how to use a litter box and is doing very well. Cody is a jumper and will jump a standard x pen so he should be housed in one with a top or a larger size cage with a lid. Friends: Cody is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female.
Phillip
Breed: Possible Flemish Giant mix as he has the body shape and look to him, just a bit smaller Size: About 6 pounds but very round DOB: Approximately January of 2018 Reason in Rescue: These boys came to us because they previous owner couldn’t afford to keep them. Personality: Phillip came to us as an owner surrender. He’s a very sweet and socialized boy that likes handling and being petted. He doesn’t mind being held (though as with most bunnies it’s not his favorite) and will bounce all over his cage for you to pay attention to him. His litter box habits are quite good and as soon as we get him neutered they should be great. Friends: he is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female once his hormones go down. Suggested adoption donation is $60 which includes his neuter and microchip.o edit.
Cocoa
Breed: some sort of medium sized mixed breed. Size: About 6 pounds. DOB: Approximately a year old so around spring of 2018 Reason in Rescue: This girl was at another shelter and there was a concern that she was having issues with diarrhea so she came to our rescue cause we have more experience with bunnies. We haven’t noticed any issue so we’re thinking it was possibly just something she ate at the moment and now she’s fine. Personality: Cocoa is a very sweet bun. She’s very outgoing and runs right up for love and attention. She likes being petted and she is okay with being held. She’s a sturdy girl and not very flighty. She uses her litter box very well!!
Olive
Breed: Some sort of English spot mix.
Size: About 5 pounds I’m guessing full grown.
DOB: Approximately end of 2018
Reason in Rescue: This girl came into the rescue when her previous owners couldn’t keep her anymore.
Personality: Olive is a super friendly girl. She absolutely adores
people, loves cats, dogs, and seems very interested in other bunnnies.
She uses her litter box perfectly even before being spayed. She’s good
with our three year old and doesn’t mind being petted and held. She’s
literally like the perfect bun. She also is very relaxed and likes to
lay in very comfortable, sprawled out positions lol
Friends: She is a good candidate to be bonded to a neutered male.
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as
possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). Adoption
process: An adoption application must be filled out
(http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by
us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A
home visit is required prior to adoption. Suggested adoption donation
is $60 which includes her spay and microchip.
Ashes
Breed: Lionhead, possibly angora mix cause she's very fluffy Size:n About 3 pounds DOB: Approximately a year old so early 2018 Reason in Rescue: This girl was picked up as a stray running loose outside. She'd very obviously been dumped. When found, her butt was so covered in feces and matted hair that she hadn't been able to poop properly (last pic). The poor girl definitely needed us! Personality: Despite her early treatment and us having to completely groom her when she arrived, Ashes is such a sweetheart. She can sometimes be a little boxy in her cage, so we don't recommend her for small children, but once you make friends with her she loves you. She loves being petted and will lay in your lap all day long. She's scared of being picked up but once you hold her she relaxes and lets you hold her. She's very good with her litter box. When Ashes arrived she had been eating stuff outside, so she did have some issues with soft poop. Sometimes she has an excess of cecatropes, so whoever adopts her must make sure she's on a good diet and that different foods are introduced slowly. Her adopter must also keep up very closely on her grooming and check her rear end a lot. She must be brushed a lot and sometimes mats cut out if it gets to that point. She CANNOT be allowed to get to the state she was when she came to us. Friends: Ashes is a good candidate to be bonded to a neutered male.
Helicopter
Breed: Looks like a small size fuzzy lop Size: About 4 pounds DOB: Approximately summer 2018 we’re guessing Reason in Rescue: This little boy was part of a cruelty seizure of a bunch of dfa animals. They were living in teeny hutches with literally feet of feces underneath them :(. They came to us from another rescue that had taken them in because they didn’t normally deal with bunnies! Personality: This little guy is very sweet. These guys apparently were super scared when they got to the last rescue but they have been getting a lot of socialization and Helicopter seems to be very friendly with people! He doesn’t mind being held and petted! He does have a longer coat, so he would need his adopter to keep up on brushing him so he doesn't become matted.
Laverne and Shirley
Breed: Dutch rabbit (Laverne) and mini rex (Shirley) Size: About 3-4 pounds DOB: Approximately early 2018 Reason in Rescue: These girls were given up as their owner couldn’t keep them. Personality: Laverne and Shirley are super sweet. Laverne is a little more nervous than Shirley, who tends to be all over you, but she enjoys being petted and doesn’t mind being held. They’d never had their nails cut prior to coming here but they did very well for the handling. They are still learning litter box skills but that should come pretty quickly after being spayed. Friends: Laverne and Shirley are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 4' for a pair ). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. Suggested adoption donation is $75 for the pair which includes their spays and microchip
