Annie and Carrie
**We are in foster in Mercer, PA**
*pair of female guinea pigs *Annie is black/white Abyssinian and Carrie is a black and white shorthair *These girls are about 2 years old as of March 2025 -These girls came in after the owner couldn’t keep them anymore due to landlord issues. Unfortunately once we got them here we realized they did not come from a good situation. They came with five other piggies that we currently have on pregnancy watch and are treating for skin issues. Luckily these girls had been housed separately and just need a good nail trim as they were extremely long. They are sweet girl but definitely shell shocked and still learning they are in a good place with good food and a clean area! They love hiding under their blankets! Like all piggies they run when you go to catch them but are fine with being handled and petted. They are a bonded pair and must stay together. Interested adopters should check out www.guineapigcages.com for information on recommended cages and https://guinealynx.info/ for information on care and feeding. They are both sweet boys, young and happy and excited about life. They can be adopted out as friends for other laid back piggies with slow introductions or adopted out as singles. Stanley and Miles
**We are in foster in Aliquippa PA**
*pair of male guinea pigs *Stanley: brown shorthair and Miles: black/brown/white Abyssinian *about 2 as of May 2025 -These boys were owner surrendered to us when the owners “couldn’t care for them anymore.” Sadly, when they arrived we realized they hadn’t been taken care of well. They were covered in mites, so much so their skin was red and scabbed up and they would scream when you touched them :(. Their nails were so long. Now that they’ve been treated for the mites and are healing, we realized they were just super sweet, affectionate boys! They now let us pet them and are so sweet and curious about everything around them. Like all guinea pigs, they run initially when you go to catch them but settle in quickly when you hold them. Interested adopters should check out www.guineapigcages.com for information on recommended cages and https://guinealynx.info/ for information on care and feeding. They are some of the most overweight piggies we’ve ever gotten in (were being fed terrifie food) so they are on a strict diet here (limited pellets, unlimited hay). Both of these girls are very sweet and laid back. Like all piggies they run when you go to catch them but are fine with being handled and petted. They are a bonded pair and must stay together. Interested adopters should check out www.guineapigcages.com for information on recommended cages and https://guinealynx.info/ for information on care and feeding. When they came in I gasped a little bit when I saw Felix! We don’t get in roans a lot and he is beautiful! These boys are definitely young and high energy but they’ve been very happy and popcorning around! They’re both sweet and enjoyed petting. Like all guinea pigs, they run initially when you go to catch them but settle in quickly when you hold them. Littlefoot
*single male guinea pig * Himalayan shorthair *Born December 2023 -This group of babies came in originally after they were rescued from being snake feeders :/. They were all adopted out together and then in June of 2025 I discovered their owner trying to get rid of them on Facebook which is against our adoption contract. We took them back and now they need to find a real, safe forever home. Littlefoot is a very sweet boy but timid definitely at first. He needs an adopter who can give him all the love and snuggles and to let him know the world is safe for him now! There were 7 total and they were stuffed into baking hot cardboard boxes, on cedar bedding. These poor guys were so terrified when we got them out and settled but they are very much enjoying being spoiled here! Virginia is definitely the more outgoing of the two while Emily is more shy. They are very sweet girls. Like all piggies they run when you go to catch them but are fine with being handled and petted. They are a bonded pair and must stay together.
