Rats:
Tofu and Lentil
*pair of males *albinos *Approximately 4-5 months old as of June 2026 -These boys came to us as a transfer from another rescue when one of their founders passed away. They are good boys but can definitely be shy at first so we go slow with them and pick them up in towels. Once we get them, they are very sweet and love to snuggle! Female rats are usually more active and playful while males are usually more cuddly and lazy. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html . Adoption fee is$30 for a pair, $45 for a trio. And $55 for a quad
Lucy
*single female standard eared tan self *approximately 1 year old as of June 2026 -Lucy came into the rescue as an owner surrender after her owners moved and didn't take her with them. :(. She came here to find a new family and some new friends! She is a little nervous at first but once she knows she can trust you, she likes to ride around on your shoulder and hang out and get attention! She loves face rubs and will brux in happiness! She can be more scared and territorial in her cage so we take her out with a towel and she does well. She cannot be adopted out as a single, she must go to a home with at least one other rat to pair with or to a home with other females. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html . Adoption fee is $20 for a single, $30 for a pair, $45 for a trio. And $55 for a quad.
Chinchillas
Pumbaa
**I have been waiting for a forever home since November of 2025**
*male chinchilla *standard gray *born in early 2021 -Timon was surrendered to us along with his brother Pumba. On arrival we were told that he had been attacking his brother so we separated them. Unfortunately we realized very quickly that these boys had not been cared for properly for a long time. Their coats were dirty and matted and the first time they saw a dust bath and good food they were out of their minds excited! They are both very sweet boys and enjoy attention and treats. They are not fans of being picked up but will tolerate it. They are being adopted out separately and could potentially go to a home where they would be introduced to another male (but males can be hard to bond to each other). Chinchillas can live 20 years with proper care! We do not recommend chinchillas for children as they do not make good pets for children under 12. They require a specialized habitat with multiple levels, specific food, and regular grooming care. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $50 for a single chin, $100 for a pair.
Tucker
*male chinchilla *black *born in early 2024 -Tucker came in as a shelter transfer when he wasn’t settling in well in the shelter environment. At first he was barky and scared but now that he’s settled in he’s really a good little guy. He will come up to you on his own, but chinchillas need to learn to trust. He enjoys head and chin scratches a lot as well as treats so we’ve been using those to make friends with him! He’s a little nervous settling in which is normal chinchilla behavior and just needs someone who can allow him to trust them (he seems like he didn’t come from the best of environments).
Rodger
**I have been waiting for a forever home since June of 2026**
*male chinchilla *black/dark gray *approximately 2 years old -Rodger came in from down south in VA after he was dumped at a local shelter down south. A rescue pulled him and got him up to us and safety! Rodger is a super sweet boy who is very friendly and outgoing! He enjoys being petted and getting scritches and loves treats! Like most chinchillas he doesnt enjoy being picked up but he does tolerate it when he needs to be. Hes a very good boy.
Worthington
**I have been waiting for a forever home since July of 2026**
*male chinchilla *silver gray/champagne *approximately 2 years old -Worthington came in as an owner surrender from a horrible family/person. The email they sent to us said that he wasnt friendly, did not like them, and was *no longer worth the effort.*. Clearly they had never taken the time to earn his trust or establish a relationship with him. So we named him Worthington cause we know hes worth it and hes now ready for his real forever family. It took him about a week to settle in and to stop alarm barking. We plied him with treats and dust baths and never forced him to interact when he was not comfortable. He now lets you pet him when you go slow and enjoys taking treats from you! He really is a sweet boy and just needs someone to let him be a chinchilla! Like most chinchillas he doesnt enjoy being picked up but he does tolerate it when he needs to be (but obviously can be stressful for them so we dont force it a lot). Hes a very good boy.
Hamsters:
Esme
*mostly black medium haired Syrian hamster -Born approximately summer/fall 2025 - Esme came in as a transfer from another rescue after they suffered the loss of one of their founders. She was originally rescued from a large local hoarding situation prior to going to that rescue. Despite her start in life, this sweet girl is very friendly, doesnt mind being picked up and is just a lovely little girl! Shed be good for any sort of family. We recommend large size hamster cages for Syrians (critter trail cages are not sufficient), with lots of activities, things to climb on and chew, and solid bottomed wheels to run on, as well as a good healthy hamster diet supplemented with fresh foods. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html Adoption fee is $20 for a single hamster
Yzma
*black and white medium haired Syrian hamster -Born approximately summer/fall 2025 - Yzma came in as a transfer from another rescue after they suffered the loss of one of their founders. She was originally rescued from a large local hoarding situation prior to going to that rescue. Yzma is a very outgoing, curious and friendly girl! She can be more on the cranky end in terms of holding but its never aggressive, she will just grump and whine at you when shes done with it. She really is just a very sweet little girl and with more handling she will be great!
