Rats

Tulip and Daisy

Picture
*pair of female rats
*Tulip is mom and probably born around summer/fall or 2024 and Daisy is her daughter and is about 6 months old as of May 2025
-Tulip and Daisy found themself in a kill shelter down south and a wonderful rescue we work with pulled them and got them to us and safety here in PA! These girls are absolutely so lovely. They are sweet girls who are very outgoing and curious and don’t mind being held and handled! Female rats are usually more active and playful while males are usually more cuddly and lazy. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html . Adoption fee is$30 for a pair, $45 for a trio. And $55 for a quad.

Chinchillas

Fiona

Picture
*female chinchilla
*standard gray
*About two years old as of April 2025
-Fiona came to us with five other chinchillas that had been owner surrendered to another shelter. She went to foster for a pregnancy watch and to see if she got along with their chinchilla but unfortunately she doesn’t play nice with other chins. She’s timid at first and takes a little bit of time to get used to you but she is very sweet. She is fine with being petted but not a huge fan of being picked up. Chinchillas can live 20 years with proper care! We do not recommend chinchillas for children as they do not make good pets for children under 12. They require a specialized habitat with multiple levels, specific food, and regular grooming care. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $50 for a single chin, $100 for a pair.

Ladi

Picture
**I am in foster in Niles, OH**

*female chinchilla

*black
*About two years old as of April 2025
-Ladi came to us as an owner surrender when her owner couldn’t keep her anymore. She’s timid at first and takes a little bit of time to get used to you but she is very sweet. She was definitely a bit spoiled with her last owner but once she settles into a regular home and routine it shouldn’t take her long to get used to it. Shes already coming out and taking treats from us and accepting head pets! She is fine with being petted but not a huge fan of being picked up and will let you know of her displeasure.

Mice

Teddy

Picture
*single albino male mouse
*DOB: Fall 2024 we're guessing
-This baby was left at a shelter down south in VA where he was in danger of being used/given away for snake food. An awesome rescue pulled him and others and transported them up to us to find their forever homes. Teddy is a nervous boy who doesn't seem to have had a ton of handling prior to coming to us. He's very cute and active, and just needs someone who can work with him on getting used to getting picked up and loved, or even just go to a home where he will be loved and spoiled and given his space for the rest of his life! Mice are awesome little pets for older kids or adults. Adoption fee is $20 for a single. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html

Ginger

Gerbils

Peep and Poppy

*pair of female gerbils
*Peep: albino gerbil and Poppy: black gerbil
*Approximately 1 year old as of April 2025
-These sweet girls were surrendered to us because their owners were not able to keep them anymore. These girls stunk to high heaven when they arrived and Peep was very stained (orange!)  indicating they weren’t in a very good environment but she is now completely white and beautiful! They are very sweet and friendly and curious about everything and let us pick them up with minimal struggle and no nips! They are active gerbil girls (as they all are) and need a home that can provide them with a good environment and attention. They do best with large gerbil proof either tanks or wire cages that they cannot chew through with lots of chewies, places to climb, and dig, and somewhere to run like a solid bottomed wheel. These are not good pets for small children and do better with older kids or adults. Gerbils can live for many years with good care. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application on our website here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $30 for the pair and they must be adopted together.

Bailey

Picture
*single male gerbil
*black
*Hes a young boy, probably born fall of 2024/beginning of 2025
-Bailey came to us from down south after he was rescued from a local kill shelter down in VA. Unfortunately small animals are very at risk down there and we work with a rescue that pulls them and gets them up to us and safety. Bailey is a very sweet boy, let me hold him but is a typical gerbil that just wants to explore everything and not sit still! No bite or aggression at all. He’s a sweet dude and just wants to go somewhere and live his best life! Gerbils do best with large gerbil proof either tanks or wire cages that they cannot chew through with lots of chewies, places to climb, and dig, and somewhere to run like a solid bottomed wheel.
